Some may wonder what inspired Keycha V. Dorsey to write The Adventures of Li’l Peanut and TJ. In her early twenties, Keycha began experiencing a series of miscarriages—an emotional journey that continued for many years. In 2015, she endured a stillbirth at five months and named the baby “TJ.”
She felt the deep love that would have connected TJ and Lil Trent deserved to be expressed on paper—and from that moment, a story was born. The trauma she experienced through each miscarriage is a powerful narrative the world needs to hear.
Through her writings, Keycha V. Dorsey shares her artistic vision, drawing from pain, healing, and love. She hopes readers will feel the depth of her story and the beauty within it.
